FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are these materials something for me?

These materials are for you if you:
- took an A1 course before but wants to brush it up;
- never took A1 lessons but has a basic understanding of the Dutch language.

What is level A1?

A basic ability to communicate and exchange information in a simple way.
Examples of what you can do:
- You can ask questions about a menu and understand simple answers;
- You can follow speech that is very slow and carefully articulated, with long pauses for you to assimilate meaning;
- You can introduce yourself and others and you can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know and things you have;
- You can recognize familiar names, words and very basic phrases on simple notices in the most common everyday situations.

How long can I get access?

As long as this course is available (at least 2 years).
