Why some Dutch learners start speaking.. while others stay stuck

Want to speak Dutch? Start with what you want to say.
This sounds obvious, but it's what most learners don't do.

This is what keeps you stuck

Don't watch random YouTube videos.
Don't purchase a grammar book only to do the exercises, page by page.

Let's say you learn a particular grammar rule or specific words in Dutch.
How big would be the chance you're actually going to use those in real life straight after you've learned them?
I never heard someone say: "I just learned how to use 'te + infinitive' and the next day, I used that grammar in real life and it helped me speak in public.

Don't get me wrong. You do need grammar.

But the difference between Dutch learners who know Dutch and Dutch learners who speak Dutch is the following:
Those who have a structured plan, focused on what they want to say, want to learn, for their specific life goals and daily situations, will speak Dutch. And the learners who learn random Dutch things will stay stuck in the 'knowing Dutch' phase.

Switch from knowing Dutch to speaking it.

What you need is focus and a clear view of what you want to say and do in Dutch.
What situations do you want to handle in Dutch?
What do you want to be able to say at work, with friends, at the supermarket?

And then next is gathering all the information to speak successfully in those situations. It is not going to help you if you focus on 'te + infinitive', but you have no clue how or when to use it.

Learn the past tense if you want to talk about your last vacation with co-workers.
Learn the present tense if you want to chat with your neighbor about your weekend plans.

That’s exactly how I built my courses.
Not around abstract grammar, but around practical situations, useful phrases, and daily Dutch life.
How have I created my lessons? I picked daily situations and speaking goals and broke it all down into smaller pieces. Which grammar, useful phrases, and words do you need to speak confidently in that situation? It's all done for you, by me. You just have to follow the structured and streamlined setup.

If you're tired of collecting lessons and ready to start speaking with intention, you're in the right place.

Learn Dutch with a focus and finally say what you want to say.
