Are you an expat who wants to feel at home in The Netherlands and therefore wants to learn Dutch?
Do you want to focus on speaking Dutch in daily Dutch situations instead of just 'knowing' the words and grammar rules?
And are you done with feeling insecure when you're talking to your child's teacher or chit-chatting with your neighbor?
Then join this B1 course and feel confident when you speak Dutch in public!
In this program, you'll learn in an effective and easy way how to speak Dutch in daily situations. My ABCD strategy is specially designed to help you go from receptive learning to actual speaking Dutch.
Within the first few weeks, you will already notice an improvement in your Dutch speaking skills.
After 8 weeks you will have conversations in Dutch instead of just responding to basic questions.
After completing the course, you are ready to make friends, look for a job and integrate properly.
Join now and start whenever you want. You can login at any time you prefer and learn Dutch through videos, audio, worksheets, online games and quizzes. It's up to you when youdo the lessons.
This course is super flexible.
Each lesson has a speaking and/or writing assignment. Send your submission and you'll get personal and professional feedback from me (Vivian).

The difference is that you'll get feedback on your writing/speaking skills and pronunciation by Vivian if you get the DIYPLUS package. You can submit speaking/writing assignments and Vivian will send you her feedback (text/voice message).
The DIY package is without this personalized feedback. When you join the DIY course, you'll still get exercises to work on speaking, writing, listening and reading skills (as well as grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary, etc.). These will be corrected by the system.
The B1.1. is something for you if you need something flexible instead of a fixed schedule.
This course is NOT for you if you want a regular course with multiple Zoom sessions per week with a fixed schedule. This is not a course like that. Why? Because I know that keeping up with a group is hard (because of the schedule and because you might learn faster or slower than the other students).
This B1.1. course will help you go from A2 to B1-
After this B1.1. course, there's an option to get the B1.2. too so that your level will be B1/B1+
The B1.1. is the first step towards B1 and the B1.2. strenghtens your skills and builds confidence.
Yes you can! Check more info here.
This B1.1. course will help you get to level B1.
If you need to take the B1 integration exam, I suggest taking my B1.2. course afterwards too. Then your level will be B1/B1+ and with the help of the free practice materials from the government, you can prepare for the exam. My B1 courses will make preparing a lot more easy.
Yes! After completing the course, you'll get a certification of participation/completion so that you can prove you've took lessons.
Please note that any certificate from any school is not legit when it comes to proving you're at a certain level. The only way you can do this is by taking an official exam by DUO. But of course, my certificate will help when an employer asks if you've taken lessons.
After the 8 modules, you'll get an exam/test that tests your understanding of the modules, your writing, reading and listening skills.
With all packages, you can either pay the full amount right away or you can pay in two installments. The first installments will be paid right away and the second payment will be automatically charged exactly one month from the first payment. If you decide to pay in two installments, you pay a few euros extra because of administration costs. After the second installment, there are no additional costs.
I would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact me within 14 days of purchasing and I will refund you the money.
If you live in the NL or EU, customers need to pay VAT. This is 21%
I mention the prices on my website in two ways: 'ex VAT' and 'incl VAT'. If you live outside of the EU, you don't need to pay VAT.
For instance, someone who's living in the NL pays 262,- for the DIYplus package and someone who's living in Canada pays 217,- for that same package.
I'm happy to help you with any questions you have. Send me an email (docent.vivian@vivodutch.com) and I will respond as soon as possible.
